Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is best known for her part as Skyler White in The AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. Anna was the first to get a major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler was on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's story.
